Built for a workday that starts in the car

Much of Fairfield’s office space sits in planned business parks near I-80, low buildings arranged around wide parking lots. In a layout like that, a coffee or snack run means getting in the car. A breakroom that is reliably full keeps the morning coffee and the afternoon snack inside the building, and nobody on staff spends a lunch hour in a checkout line or a Friday afternoon carrying cases of water across the lot.

Fairfield Janitorial takes over the buying and the shelving on a regular rotation, then tidies the kitchen before leaving. It is a separate service from restroom stock: restroom paper, soap and can liners fall under our janitorial supplies, and either one can run without the other.

Setting up the account, step by step

  1. A kitchen visit. We sit down with whoever knows the team best and note the coffee people drink, the snacks gone by Tuesday, the ones that go stale and the drinks the fridge should never be without.
  2. Dietary needs. Gluten-free, dairy-free, plant-based, diabetic-friendly or caffeine-free requests go on the list, along with any food you want kept out of the kitchen altogether.
  3. A monthly spend. You pick the figure, and quantities are sized to fit it, staples first and variety after.
  4. Restock days. We choose the days that suit your office’s week, so stock lands before the busy stretches.

A fixed monthly figure is easy to approve: the amount holds steady, and the list shows where it goes. When an item’s shelf price climbs, we swap in a comparable choice or trim a count rather than run past it. For a busy season or a quiet one, tell us and the next order shifts.

On the shelves

  • Coffee, tea, creamer, sugar and sweeteners, with pods that fit the brewer you already have
  • Chips, pretzels, crackers, snack bars, mixed nuts and dried fruit
  • Bottled water, flavored sparkling water, soft drinks, juice and sports drinks
  • Hot and cold cups, paper plates, bowls, forks and spoons, and napkins
  • Seasonal swaps on request, such as hot cocoa through the winter or extra sparkling water in the warm months

Each restock visit

We unpack, put new items behind older ones so the oldest stock gets eaten first, fill the cupboards, coffee station and fridge to the written quantities and take the cardboard away. Then the breakroom gets a quick reset: counters, tables and chairs wiped, the sink cleared and rinsed, the fridge wiped out, the microwave cleaned, and trash and recycling emptied.

The people who restock your kitchen are background-checked, like every member of our cleaning crews.

Where it fits

It suits offices that want staff to take a real break without leaving the building. Coworking spaces can use it to keep a coffee counter and snack shelf in good shape. Clinics and medical offices can have it cover a staff room plus water or coffee in the waiting area, and shops or showrooms can use it for the breakroom behind the sales floor. Small teams with one fridge and larger floors with several kitchens both fit; a bigger office just means a longer list and more stops on restock day.

With our cleaning, or on its own

For buildings already on our cleaning schedule, pantry visits are planned alongside it. The evening crew gives the breakroom its full clean during office cleaning, and restock days are set on that same calendar, so the kitchen is clean and full after each one. One account and one point of contact cover the building.

If your own staff does the cleaning, the pantry service works just as well by itself.

What sets the service fee

Product spending follows the monthly figure you chose. Our charge for the work reflects how many people the pantry feeds, how many kitchens there are, how fast the stock moves, whether the list sticks to staples or reaches for premium picks, and how often we restock.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

How does a new snack request get onto the shelf?

Tell your contact what to add, and it joins the list for the next restock day as long as it fits the monthly spend.

Can certain foods be kept out of the kitchen entirely?

Yes. Items to avoid are written into the list next to the dietary needs, and the shopper follows both on every trip.

Could each department or floor get its own list?

Yes. Each kitchen can carry its own list and quantities, while all of them sit on one account and one restock rotation.

Do we have to use Fairfield Janitorial for cleaning too?

No. The pantry service is available by itself, or alongside our janitorial service so both work from one calendar.
